Since inception one of the most important core values at SRL has been Knowledge Intensity. We strongly believe in the power of knowledge and how it is essential for growth, both physical and spiritual, for any individual or organization. SRL Global knowledge forum is an initiative by SRL to provide a platform for scientific experts for knowledge management in the field of biomedical sciences. It is envisioned to be a melting pot of information, explanation and expert analysis related to recent advances in the field of healthcare with primary focus being on Laboratory Medicine.

Of late, the staggering growth of technologies and their application have brought in a sea change in our understanding of health and disease. However, the field of translational medical research is still in its infancy, more so when we consider evidence-based clinical application of prospective practice-changing research findings. In this scenario, we realized the need of a knowledge management forum to consolidate the enormous amount of information and findings obtained in the field of Biomedical Sciences over the recent years through a common platform for scientific experts, laboratory medicine professionals, researchers, clinicians and students. We believe this will expedite the understanding of novel research findings required for appropriate clinical applications, both in diagnostics and therapeutics.

In its journey SRL Global Knowledge Forum will organize CME programmes, symposia and round table clinical meetings; will publish medical newsletters; will encourage and felicitate individuals for their contributions in biomedical sciences and will work as a platform for scientific collaboration and networking. Through the forum SRL also intends to reach out to a greater proportion of general population with an aim to increase awareness, bust myths, and provide knowledge about health and disease in an easy-to-understand mode.
